Thanks. I sometimes just set aside books that come in in collections. The three Rangers were from a local collector who was selling his comics to buy art about ten years ago. They were sitting in a box at the house and I kind of forgot about them. The Jumbo was purchased raw at the New Orleans show last year.

Something a bit different - here's an Australian Fiction House reprint. Like many Australian comics of the time, it's an odd mix of material - two stories reprinted from Jungle Comics (one Kaanga story) and a story from Jet Aces #4. Looking at the cover art, I think it was either traced from an internal panel or redrawn by a local artist. It's not the cover from any FH Kaanga or Jungle. Again that's not too unusual.

 

No date on this one but the jet Aces story says 1954 or later. Finally, I have no idea why it's a 'special'. It has the standard 24 pages and b&w interior.
