Mosconi,

Just curious, what's the grade on that 232? Sure is sharp looking.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier as I've been swamped at work. Yeah, this is a truly beautiful copy that is in a CGC 9.4 case. The grader's notes show 9.6, 9.4, 9.4 so it was a borderline 9.6 candidate. The centering is fantastic and we all know how commonly miswrapped this #232 is.

Here's another cover that I greatly admire and another book that I never plan to sell cloud9.gif

Yeah, I think it might be the inker thats throwing me. Something about the Batman figure in the water made me think it had to be another artist (just didn't look like Adams style). Brave & Bold #83 is listed by CGC as a Neal Adams cover but we all know that was done by Nick Cardy so....

Not sure if you have seen this, but Adams' site has a complete cover and interior art listing, including some cover galleries.

I think you're probably right that the #235 shows inker Giordano more than Adams. Maybe Adams did a rougher-than-usual layout for his inker to follow? confused-smiley-013.gif

Oh, and the B&B 83 is actually a Novick.

How did I miss this thread?

That's my favorite Riddler cover. Whenever I see it, I imagine the Riddler speaking with Frank Gorshin's voice and everything meshes perfectly. I started buying Batman with 278, so that issue would have been purchased as a back issue shortly after I started collecting and discovered the newstand with boxes of back issues. cloud9.gif
