Also it was around this time that Klaus Janson started throwing ink on Sal's pencils. When they first teamed up the art was really well done. Klaus has used this garden hose inking effect for the last 40 years... and I kind of wish he hadn't. Mainly because I think it influenced Miller's style from the line work he used to do to the Lowe's garden paint brushes of ink he's used for the last 20 years. Rant over.
