This was taken care of within minutes of me posting more than the usual 1 per month in the babe test Gosh, I guess there still are babies around here. Is that why many of the original posters no longer post? I guess my stay was a bit too long

Hardly, but some people do work and would like to surf the boards at lunch, without the spectre of a sexual harassment case ruining their day. I doubt CGC wants to be dragged into court either. I have disabled sigs due to this childish behavior, but I wish I didn't have to as there are many humorous sigs that I have to miss out on.

 

And for the record, I think adults with porn in their sigs are the ones who need to grow up.

Can always come over to STL, have a drink, have an avatar and go a few rounds with Hammer, we pretty much don't care whats in the avatar or sig so long as it's not nudity. Suggested nudity is cool. On a message board you have only 3 things to establish an identity, an avatar, your name and your opinions, I agree that sometimes things can get out of hand when not controlled but IMO, I think R-Doggs first, white pants girl was fine, maybe the second one was a stretch, hell, even mine might be a stretch but I have not seen one negitive comment on it yet, and have read many positive ones and have been asked for it. I understand the majority of posters here are older, married collectors, and don't really care for that stuff, or maybe they are just gay? but either way, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and give in and respect those you can learn a great deal from. I think as far as avatars go the board should be left to police themselves, I also think the babe test should be allowed to show partial nudity in a tsateful manner, but that's just me.

see that's going just a bit to far, you have a better chance of wining the lottery then getting sued for sexual harassment because you see a non-nude image on a website, a non-adult-non-porn website at that.

 

your record has been noted, I would like to go on the record stating that posters WITHOUT an avatar or sig, whining about other posters avatars and sigs need to grow up. Rick, While I thoroughly enjoy(ed) the pictures in your sig. I like to look at this board at work -- sometimes a bit too much. Unfortuantely I have had to start looking over my shoulder every time I bring up a thread with your posts in them. Stuff like that would most certainly land my butt in HR if certain people got a glance of them.

Don't get me wrong. I understand that certain situations are different, but I mean come on. Lets go cry to a moderator for little [#@$%!!!] that can be handled amongst ourselves. In my first initial post replying to bronzebruce13 I stated that if anyone was offended by my sig, that I would gladly edit it. This is in no way aimed at you obviously, but it just irritates me when grown men are pansies and do not want to just call it as it is and post that directly to me or pm me and not a moderator like a squeeling girl.

 

My sigs were a bit much, but since I planned on posting more I asked if anyone was offended and once someone mentioned it...bam! Sig edited. Very easy

Blame me Rick, I asked you yesterday to take down the sig.. and at the same time asked Arch what was and was not appropriate for the boards.

 

You handled it with class, and took it down asap without having to be told to.

I thought it was over and done with. I see now Arch made this thread to lay down the law.

 

I will take the heat of being the forum baby.... I brought it on myself by voicing my opinions about the sig lines.
