27 would be the record although sale price was not made public (or perhaps exaggerated ) but certainly higher than 75K

Exactly!  It can be a buyer who does not know full well about the restorative practices done by IGB thinking that it is just another restored book..  And yes, the cover does look like a xerox copy unfortunately.  I wonder what the book was previously before it went to full resto.

I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around how they get that assigned grade? They must be doing some pretty cutting edge stuff because at what point do you say that ext pro work shouldn't warrant NM+ grades when so much work has been done.
