retrocomics
Watch out if you plan on bidding on this FAC 20. Looks like the same one that sold last weekend and comes from a zero feedback seller Current book http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fight-Against-Crime-20-Classic-Decapitation-cover-CGC-3-5-OW-WHITE-Pgs/262882762045?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D41669%26meid%3Db26e0c1127464886b53477003fda2517%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D381972081953 Last weekends book http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fight-Against-Crime-20-Classic-Decapitation-cover-CGC-3-5-OW-WHITE-Pgs-/381972081953?hash=item58ef4f6d21%3Ag%3AdyIAAOSwdGFYqTQJ&nma=true&si=%2Fgf3ep5OxUpTaZsAsCNdbBVdh3U%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
punksdropdirtysrh
Interesting. I wonder what the sellers motives are. Regretful impulse buy? Thinks he can flip it already? Hmmm

fifties
I'm prolly missing something here, but if the assumption is that the 3.5 book that sold last week is the same that is now for sale...It ain't.
telerites
I have been tracking this book. When it was first posted, I asked the seller if they could provide a picture of the back of the label. I suspected it was a scam as it was zero feedback and only item for sale. The seller never responded at all to my question. I know I ain't a biddin'
punksdropdirtysrh
Forgive me if this is a n00b question, but what can a seller really gain from doing this? With eBay's buyer protection they wouldn't get any $ right?

My assumption is when Ebay tries to recover from the money from the seller's PP account (which is just as fake as the auction), it will be empty or closed he rides on to set up more spurious Ebay and PP accounts to thieve again. The seller may also create phishing, fake invoices to capture the buyer's PP account information and the seller may attempt to divert the buyer to another form of payment.
