You know what, you're right Joey. I apologize, I should have pmd you a suggestion and not blasted you publicly. I was wrong to do it. When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. And it was wrong. I stand by that I will not take any threats lightly, but I do admit that I instigated it. So this is my honest, no sarcasm apology.

Thank you Pat. That is all I wanted.

Best of luck on your sales thread and in Clifton. Say hi to Dan for me if you see him.

I apologize for my actions. But I can't stand some of these noobs.

By the way, it is in bad form to apologize to your cronies on a sales "discussion" thread and not to the person who's thread you crapped on. what a winner

I dont like you, and we should never talk.

what's the matter, too big to apologize? And what is all this noobie stuff. You registered here less than 2 years before me?

:gossip: It's kind of a board meme / joke to call anyone who registered after you, a noob.

Noob!

:cloud9:

Was Greggy ever a noob? hm

You're ALL noobish - 'cept greggy - he's just a dork

Where the hell have you been?

I have been taking the bitter with the sweet!

Actually just trying to get my stuff back in order. Health is getting better now, and in February I will be moving back to Texas to be closer to my kids. Ones in college at Sam Houston State the other a HS Senior and will be going to Texas A&M next year. Want to be there for that.

What is the best thread to ask this question:

What's the safest, easiest, an most acceptable way to ship 50-200 comics in the USA.

I plan on selling some lots on the board, but I want to understand the best shipping method for lots.

I was thinking something with insurance etc to protect myself but not super pricey or super slow.

Thanks!

USPS Flat-Rate Medium boxes, the 11x8.5x5.5 sized one. You can get 50 comics in one of those well packaged & packed, and it will only cost $12.35 in the US. Anything larger than 50 comics, IDK. I have never shipped a short- or long-box before, but there are people here that have.

You might want to try the search function first, then maybe post this is Comics General.

Kudos, Pat. Everyone acts like a dong-dong sometimes. What matters is how you deal with it.

Then I had better see some apologies coming from you, Mighty Mouse or Phil's Parking lot is gonna be full tonight.

*sigh* misleading GPA info citing continues....

when a seller cites "last sale" information that's a huge red flag to me.

seller's might as well type out "90 day and 12 month GPA is less, but some sucker paid over market for this book so I'm gonna cite it and strike while the irons hot!"

I think the most ethical thing would be to list all prices: 90 day, 12 month and last sale. Sometimes there's a trend with a particular comic where it's getting hot and someone pulls the trigger first...creating an outlier. Under those circumstances the 90 day and the 12 month are good to know, but are shortly going to be unreliable indicators of price. Just posting the last sale can sometimes be duplicitous, but it's not always a red flag. Context as well as knowledge of trends is fairly important as well.
