McGinnis article in Vanity Fair

Not sequential art, per se, but I saw this posted over at Muddy Colors, and I know several folks here may be interested in the article. It's obviously aimed at a readership that know nothing of McGinnis himself.

Thanks for the heads up! I think I may have seen one of the originals for one of the books shown. (Mitch maybe? The Scrambled Yeggs? The one with the brown rug.)

McGinnis is indeed a master and I will eventually own one of his paintings. I just have not seen one yet at the right time financially, but the time is coming. I really love his stuff.  It may be designed to draw you in and engage you but his choices in patterning and color hit me upside the head more often than not. He can make browns and blacks beautiful and alluring. :luhv:
