What would these Golden age books grade as?

Superman #36.

Pretty sharp to me. Lays nice and flat. I am thinking maybe a VG to VG+. Not to sure of the curve though.

 

 

 

Batman #49

Nice copy. Structurally sound and tight. Top left spine damage, 2 small rips. Bottom left corner foxing on the inside. I was thinking VG+ to a possible VG/F. Might be off on this one.

Based on the FCs I would think you'd get a 6.0 on the Supes and 5.5 on the Bats.

I think your grades are probably right, seeing as you have them in hand and grade them lower . . .

I am just not that good on the Golden age grading. As in, what CGC would grade them as. Silver,bronze and modern are pretty easy as I see way more of them and in duplication.
