Piper is right though, while you'll generally see dealers you've never seen before the dealer inventory is nowhere near as good as a big US show.  There's a couple Montreal dealers, couple from British Columbia, one from Ottawa, Harley Yee, and a bunch from Alberta.

Dave,who was down from Ottawa?

Sorry, can't remember.  He was fairly short, sandy hair, had a helper who was bald and older who sets up on his own in Toronto.

Sounds like Norm from four color collectables. The bald guy I mean lol

As mentioned previously in the thread, they had approximately 95,000 people pass through the turnstiles this past weekend.  Thankfully, the aisles were large enough that it made it fairly easy to pass through the hordes of cos-players decked out in all their finery.  Perhaps the organizers had some method to their madness in measuring everyone's booth to the inch/millimeter (hey Karl)?

The Calgary show was housed in three separate buildings: Stan Lee, Todd McFarlane, table top games, and miscellaneous vendors were in one building.  A second building held the video gaming (never made it there) and the celeb photo ops.  The third and final building housed artist alley, the celebs conducting their autograph signings, comic dealers, and miscellaneous vendors selling t-shirts,etc.  Additionally, they had a large area of this building set aside for the various panels including a large hockey arena like space for the big celeb panels (e.g. McFarlane, Lee, Renner, Capaldi, Cusack, Smith & Mewes, etc.).
