Malcontent
I am stumped on this one, folks. This one looks damn nice to me- the only real defect being a tiny chip out at the lower right corner. Pages are supple. No tears. No marks. Beyond grading, I have no idea how to price it? Hakes sold one for $1200+ in 2005. A heavily restored copy went through CGC at $382 in 2015. There is a graded 5.5 copy on Amazon for $2500+. Love to hear your thoughts - Thanks! http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/mikeradio/SuperMFire1.jpghttp://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/mikeradio/SuperMFire2.jpg Edited August 1, 2017 by Malcontent
AJD
Yeah, I see what you mean about a tough ask to grade. Guessing here, but the scrunch in the middle of the top front page is probably the biggest flaw, and might keep it to 7.0 or so. Otherwise there's also a bit of a spine crease at half height and a couple of little marks, but they're small defects. Everything else looks pretty good, so I'll go with 7.0. 1950's war comics
