CGC 9.4 J.I.M.'s F.S.:

1 post in this topic

As anyone that knows me can testify, I have extremely strict purchasing criteria and these two ticked all the boxes for me. cloud9.gif

The #116 has extremely dense cover inks (as deep as on any J.I.M. I have seen), fresh page quality, and is structurally an extremely strong NM. In fact, one of the CGC graders gave it a 9.6, and the other two 9.4.

The #117 is the Eides copy, and like the #83 and #115 has a grey-tone cover which is easily prone to discoloration and tanning. This one of the very few high grade copies I have seen with no hint of tanning (front or back), and intense, fresh cover inks.

J.I.M. #116 CGC NM 9.4 OWW = $1,600

J.I.M. #117 CGC NM 9.4 OW = $1,000
