Sean1125
Hi guys, would you please grade my comic? There is a slight bend in the surface just below spider mans leg. On a couple pages there is a small puncture near the bottom about 7 or 8 mm from the edge and about 1mm in diameter - two of these about 3 inches apart. No page tears or anything missing. I am acquanting myself to grading and appreciate any help I may receive here. Thank you. Edited September 4, 2017 by Sean1125
Ryanfromottawa
Jeez, I would guess 8.5-9.... $$$$$$$
Bomber-Bob
It looks like there are some tears on the bottom of the BC ? There also appears to be a bottom right corner chip. It looks like a very nice book but I would be in the 7.0ish range.
Mailman_Comics
I see the defects Bomber-Bob pointed out, there also appears to be a corner chip at the top of the spine. Before looking at anybody else's grade and not even counting the hidden defects the OP mentioned I had it as 6.0ish.
MustEatBrains
I could see this as a 7.0, absolutely stunning book. Serious congrats on owning this iconic book in a lovely grade.
Terrapin
6/6.5 bc tears and corner take it out of the 7 zone for me. Still an amazing copy. If I had one in any condition I'd be thrilled.

1950's war comics
If it comes back CGC 7.0 or better, someone might be able to start living the American dream (new car, money in the bank for rent/mortgage payments for years, basic family security ) FoggyNelson
poppy73
I'd say 7.5 maybe 8.0. The book is stunning.

ADAMANTIUM
I was in the 7.0/7.5 range before looking at comments and I'm still saying that range STORMSHADOW_80
SpideyFein
I would say 6.5-7.0. The book seems to have some type of tanning on the back cover and possibly the inside cover, which could bring it down. Added with the defects Bob pointed out, I think it's a 6.5 any day of the week though. Very nice. I've seen books like this get 7.5's too though- but they weren't AF's. Please update us if you indeed get it graded. What a beauty.
drotto
I am going for a 7.0 What I see 1. some Spine roll (pressing should help) 2. Color break of some type under the price 3. tear to spine on lower left 4. Bottom edge looks a little rough including a small tear or fold on the back bottom Very solid and nice book. Sean1125
Hello guys, This book is in for grading and the submission was received today. I should know the grade by the end of the day. CCS deemed the book "too fragile to press". I am very curious about that as my worse condition books are getting pressed. This will be an interesting learning experience. Edited October 16, 2017 by Sean1125

cookie1963
that is one lovely book. just throwing it out there has the top or bottom being trimed? that being said i would hazard a guess at 6.5 to 7.0.

Maybe they didn't think a press would do the book any good so avert risk. It will be interesting to see what it comes back as. I think its going to be a very nice 6.5/7.0! Outstanding book!
