SA Marvels missing ad pages 0

So having been a marvel zombie for nearly 40 years now,its seems they were subject to ad removal pretty rampantly.anyone know particularly why this is? Its seems its very focused to just 60s marvels.is it prevalent in other years? For 70s other then MVS I very rarely find an issue missing a page.

A final question since I'm not a DC collector,are 60s DC chopped up as much?

Marvel had a lot of pinup pages and kids loved to rip them out and put them on their wall.

Always count pages and don't assume it's complete and all the wraps are there when you hit the center of the book

I think part of it may be that, for a lot of SA Marvels, the third wrap was ads on all 4 pages and could be removed without damaging the story.  Why would you want pages with nothing but ads messing up your book?

The 70's Marvels alternate ads and comic pages in such a way that you can't pull wraps without losing story for the most part.

SA  DCs often had coupons for Palisades Park Amusement Park. The coupons are often missing  in books from NY/ NJ. Not so much the rest of the country.
