ExNihilo
I bought a copy of FF48 off eBay and was a little bummed to find that the case had been damaged in transit. I'm guessing the condition of the book is otherwise unchanged, but I'm wondering what is the recommended course of action here? I plan to keep the book and have it reholdered, but is there an expectation that the seller is on the hook for the reholdering fees? (messaged the seller who offered to issue a refund to cover shipping/reholdering. ) When submitting to CGC for reholdering, they don't regrade the book right? They just put it in a fresh slab and print out the same label with the same grade? I just don't want to have to worry that the grader is having a bad day and downgrades it. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. Edited November 22, 2017 by ExNihilo
ADAMANTIUM
I've done reholdering a couple of times recently, they don't "regrade", but they do glance to see if the crack case affected the book..., but I wouldn't worry too much @ExNihilo ExNihilo
badback83
Looks good to me. They’ll just reholder. Great book by the way! 1950's war comics, ExNihilo and ADAMANTIUM
