I'm going to imagine they're panties, but not his.  Maybe he had a late night with Gwen or MJ (or both), and he had an early morning emergency that required an early morning exit.  Maybe it was still dark in the room, and he didn't realize he was putting on his girl's undies?  Maybe don't judge the man for being open-minded.  

Maybe don't judge me.  Don't assume anyone's undergarments.
