Hulk 181 torn cover 0

I have a chance to buy a copy of Hulk 181 from my LCS. The corner on the cover is torn away. Just want to know if the price he's asking is reasonable. Does a torn cover drastically affect the grade?

looks as though your LCS owner has it graded at 2.5 hence the "GOOD +"

I would say that he's not too far off, could be 3.0 though if the grader was nice

could also be things that your not seeing with no back cover pick etc......

I've seen CGC 4.0's with more cumulative paper loss than that. And more wear.  

Some graders allow a missing piece the size of a postage stamp in the VG range, but this is not universally followed. Although CGC seems to be pretty lenient on this.
