Please grade my Fantastic Four 77

Note: There are no creases on the back (other than a few transverse spine ones), just the discoloration from the smudging.

 

That back cover art with the Roman soldiers cool!

I have had books that were as dirty on the back cover grade as high as 9.2.

 

Yours looks pretty sharp, use a white eraser on the back cover and yours should grade around an 8.5/9.0.

White eraser okay with CGC? I've never thought to try it!

Corners are too soft, especially the opening FC's - that and the spine stress will get you an 8.0

8.0 due to the rounded corners and wear to bottom right corner.

I was going to go for an 8.5 but that might be a little too generous. Should be 8 or 8.5

Slight rounding of the corner with a little overhang...

Seems funny more people think the 76 is a 9.0.

 

"In hand" this one looks a smidgen better than the 76.
