I would go 7.5 maybe 8.0. The only thing that would keep it from getting an 8.0 or higher, is the chip on b/c. Looks nice. Date stamp is cool.

I was at a 7.0- 7.5, tanning, date stamp, miswrap cvr, chip on back edge, lower rt back crnr fold , upper staple impacted. Maybe i am just to tight, I would love to see this when it comes back!

I love seeing this book! It was my first silver age Marvel purchase way back in the 70's. I would give it an 8.0. Love that cover, John Buscema! Sadly I had to sell those old books. I would love to have a copy again but I'm afraid its probably out of my price range these days. Enjoy it. Its a true treasure! Are you selling it? Had to ask lol!

If they sold this to you as a book in the 8.0 territory, they're good graders. This should make 8.0. Not more, because of the chip, but being very common on the left back cover edge of Sub-Mariner 1, this solid high grade shouldn't take a hit to under 8.0 because of it. 8.0 overall.

I would have said strong 8, so well done! As someone else stated, sweet date stamp...
