Rules for ComicSupply grading contest.

When the first round starts, every player starts in the Winners bracket and is paired up with an opponent.

After the first book is listed players will submit their grades to ComicSupply. Grades must be submitted by the end of 48 hours after the book is originally posted. Failure to PM grades will result in an automatic loss or elimination.

After grades are submitted whoever is closer (up or down) to the actual numerical grade is the winner. Winners of the round will remain in the Winners Bracket and the loser will be knocked down to the Losers or Mega Losers bracket. In the event of a tie, both players will remain in the bracket and face off again in the next round.

Lose Once: Sent to Losers Bracket

Lose Twice: Sent to Mega Losers Bracket

Lose Three Times: Eliminated

Each bracket will have a prize and a champion of the bracket. After all 3 brackets are over with, those 3 winners will face off in the Bracket Champion contest.

PRIZES:

Losers Bracket Champion: $50 Free Stuff from http://www.ComicSupply.com

Just to make sure...if book is graded as 9.0...

9.4 is off only 0.4 points, but also 2 grade notches. 8.5 is off by 0.5 but only one grade notch. Which one wins?

Well, in this case the 8.5 wins. Had the 9.4 guess been a 9.2 it would of been a tie.

There is a much bigger difference between 9.4 and 9.0 than there is between 9.0 and 8.5.

Lets have a another look at that!

Okay, enough.

What will happen in head to head when there is a tie? You get an odd number of people in the brackets? Say if you had 60 people,,,, 29 win 29 lose 2 tie, you now have 31 people in winners bracket and 29 in losers. Does someone get a bye in each bracket? Just wondering. This could happen often if both parties nail it.
