This particular title doesn’t seem to be as common as the many other precode horror titles floating around ebay and auction houses.  Is it just me, or is there some truth to the scarcity?

I personally think that the comics having the widest sales distribution when they were sold, helps to determine their availability now.  That's why Crime Does Not Pay, or Action Comics as two examples, are in relative abundance.  Ajax comics weren't easy to find back then at the news stand, with fewer copies of each issue as compared to Atlas titles.  Here's my run of the title, sans #5, which I have a replica of;

I have a complete run too. I don't remember any of them being that hard to get. But, that was a long time ago when there were far less collectors of PCH. Once I finished they kind of went off my radar.

I think the Horrific run is the hardest to come by now.  9, 10, and 13 are easy but not the rest

#3 cost me 4 bucks.  Good investment?

I have to agree with Robot Man and Fifties on this title I have about half the run the main problem now is dealing with the current pricing for them. Ouch!

I do have Ditko’s first work.  Fortunate for that, especially with prices as crazy as they are. Census numbers are quite low for Fantastic Fear books.  I do realize that PCH books minus Atlas and EC are pretty scarce overall.  Just wanted to gauge the difficulty in collecting this title from collectors more experience than I.

It's a tough run, especially in midgrade or higher. I only have a handful.

#4 and #5 are a beast to find. #4 has far fewer graded copies although #5 is Ditko goodness so I assume gets slabbed more because of that fact. That's the only one I need in the run.
