I've never seen so many eBay sponsored discount sales, I wonder what's going on. I had to call last week because they messed up a transaction and they said to expect a lot of sales.  This time it looks like you don't have to use your phone.

What is the Promotion?

10% in eBay Bucks on every qualifying item of $100 or more (the “Promotion”).

Who's eligible?

Only invited, registered eBay Bucks participants who receive the promotional offer from eBay in My Messages are eligible. Sorry, no forwarding—the offer is not transferable.

Promotion details

The Promotion starts at 5:00AM PT on September 4, 2018 and ends at 11:59PM PT on September 5, 2018 (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion applies to any qualifying items purchased during the Promotion Period that meet the minimum purchase requirement. You must activate the offer to qualify.

*Qualifying items exclude all items in the following categories: Classifieds; Business & Industrial, but only for Heavy Equipment within that category; Real Estate; Gift Cards & Coupons, including eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards, and Digital Gifts within that category; Bullion within the Coins & Paper category; and all categories in Motors, except Parts & Accessories.

Rewards are capped at $100 per transaction and $500 per Earn Period. See eBay Bucks Terms & Conditions for other program restrictions. i wonder what percentage of the E-Bay bucks actually get redeemed. I think I got a notice about the last one and almost forgot about it and ended up using it at the last second.

I forgot once, too, but it was only $5.00...however they remind you constantly that you missed the $5.00 because it always seems to be on my page, lol.

I love the ones that also give eBay bucks on selling as well.

With only 1 month to use the eBay bucks I bet redemption is around 60% or less.  I sometimes have a hard time finding something I really want with them.

Of course I've heard nothing from ebay and I've been a member since 1998. Sniff.

I don't think it's high rollers, I bought a few things the last few sales, but my friend who has been buying gold coins and comics for years gets the same notices I do.  He's been  buying all the time.

You should actually make sure you're signed up for Ebay promotions. Otherwise you don't get them.

I woke up this morning to 10 sold books and assumed they must've ran another promotion.

That new seller hub is awful. Not looking forward to the day it becomes compulsory and not a Beta version you can opt out of.
