Ok so after a 2 year wait time of books piling up, I finally had a case full from Comiclink to ship to Canada. I wait because the books I collect (GA Fawcetts) only show up once or twice a year and I am not much of a baller.

I took a video to commemorate the event for myself and have some fun with it.

In this video I pull out All Star Comics 58, Master Comics 23, Master Comics 40, Master Comics 47, Master Comics 48, Captain marvel Jr 26, Brave and the Bold 57, Hawkman 5, Batman 244, Marvel Family 77 (YES!!!!!!!!)

I think I too have found random issue numbers of that series. Man it's weird to be looking through my back issues and see some of my newsstands.

Still that is why I try to look them up when I purchase, to see if they are "price editions", so years later when I rediscover I have them, I know what it is

Another awesome mail day to kick off the weekend!

First, got another nice batch of cool stuff, with a couple of pretty unique/interesting things in this one:

 

I had to do a front/back of this one, pretty sweet back cover:

 

This one is seriously cool (even with the foxing on the cover) - it's from a student group at a Canadian college, but they had lecturers like Mike Ploog, Will Eisner, Bernie Wrightson. This is the error version with messed up colors on the cover. There's some cool history about this that I found online; maybe I'll do a separate post - I think people could find it interesting:

It's interesting - I thought this was the first appearance of Arnim Zola, but it looks like they're calling his first appearance 208 (I didn't have the opportunity to buy 208 anyway, it wasn't available). But in 208, he's only shown once on the last page, and in 209 he's the main story...
