ArAich
Just in today... Since I can't find the freakin' pulp thread... (the search function sucks)...I'll post this item here.. Perhaps the next best thing to owning a Marvel Comics #1...

Wally's Comics
Damn this wasn't cheap but what a cool book and I have been looking for a 9.8 forever. Wish I had a better scan. If it is what I recall... (where he completes his battle with Justin Hammer and the goon squad) This is a really great story. I think I traded my copy as a kid for an early Pete Rose card... Wally's Comics
If it is what I recall... (where he completes his battle with Justin Hammer and the goon squad) This is a really great story. I think I traded my copy as a kid for an early Pete Rose card... You know I'm going to have to pull out my reader copy because I can't remember the storyline. One of the coolest things that I can remember was that Tony was guarding the Princess (girl with an iron mask) and while doing so gets busted up by android animal bad-arses (the villian group from X-men 95) (don't remeber what they are called) After a while of Tony getting is arse whupped he decides that he'll die if he doesn't change into Iron Man and defend himself (thus revealing his identity). He does and one of the villian members says "this guys is beat to a pulp inside that suit, we can still take him easy" Needless to say... they were wrong! burntboy
just closed the deal with Mark Zaid on this one an hour ago. there was some forum interest in this book and i kept thinking about it over the weekend. talked to Steve B and Mark Haspel at dinner sat night, they checked the graders notes for me and i decided to take the plunge........... i only have a dozen or so GA books (and many are restored), but this one has always intrigued me...............when they call this cover CLASSIC, they aren't exaggerating..........
