lizards2
That number 80 is one of my all time favortite Kirby covers! It's also a tough one to find in HG. I spent 20 years trying to upgrade the copy I bought off the newstand - finally found a NM one on eBay just last year.

I spent 20 years trying to upgrade the copy I bought off the newstand - finally found a NM one on eBay just last year. Right now I am trying to get a run together. Once that is completed I may try to upgrade my copies. I love collecting and reading these Iron Man issues.

october
It was a good day for comics! Steve (Rhino) came by while I was at work and dropped off this beauty! Blue label 8.0, now liberated.
Mr. Zipper
That number 80 is one of my all time favortite Kirby covers! I picked up the Rosa copy last year for $8. Great cover with perfect centering. But, wow, what a crappy story. Unreadable.
Mr. Zipper
Just came in the other day. Hit a BIN on ebay and got a deal. I think... Seems like a tough book in grade.
Mr. Zipper
From the Western MO collection. 9.0 type spine and corners. Small crescent thumb crease on right edge brings it down a notch or two...

Mr. Zipper
Also put in lowball bids on Star Wars 1 CGC 9.6 and this book and won both. I was especially happy with the Spider-Woman because this book is so frequently miswrapped and has that horrible white line along the spine. Perfect centering. The Star Wars 1 has perfect centering as well and that book is almost always miswrapped.

Well, there are 13 in this grade and none higher. It's a real beauty. How much did you pay?
