chrisco37
Send that graded #1 to one of the big auction houses. That's a 5-figure mag.

The Lions Den
Please accept my condolences. From what I've heard, Heritage is the best place to go through for Playboy magazines. I hope this helps, and welcome to the boards...

We sold one at a big auction house and we were robbed. It was a signed first edition... I don't want to make that mistake again. I think the message you replied to was suggesting one of the "big" comic book-selling online auction houses.

I don't track Playboys, but as someone else mentioned, maybe HA is the best venue. theCapraAegagrus

Sold for way under perceived value? Was it auctioned to in-person crowd or online?

The Lions Den
Granted, there are always potential pitfalls in any kind of venture such as this, but if you want to move all the material at one time, it's probably best to consult a place like Heritage. This is exactly the kind of thing they specialize in. If you'd rather move the material in a more measured fashion, you could contact a place like Comiclink. Either way, I wish you the best of luck...

evilskip
I know somebody who sold the first twenty or so issues that were CGC graded through HA. He got a lot of cash for #1. You should do quite well with that issue, and the others. The Lions Den

Thats's not the auction house fault, just bad luck and or not a good auction house to sell that type of media most likely.
