Would buying a copy of X-23 graded at a 9.8 be a decent investment?

 

Modern 9.8's will become more common as more and more get slabbed....so IMO...no.

 

And we have dealers to thank for that. Dealers who send in thousands of books to prescreen for 9.8's. 893naughty-thumb.gif

ahh...but the dealers are doing it because the collectors want 9.8 or better.... 893naughty-thumb.gif

 

so who is at fault really?
