Suspense #21 - 3.5 OW/WH - Stan Lee Story and Bill Everett Cover

Great colors on this copy.  There is some staple tearing (See top staple pic, this is what cgc means when they say 'back cover detached') but they are firmly attached.  Interiors are bright and supple.  Some chipping and some readers creases.  Tough book with only 10 on the census.

Asking:  Sold to Ironman4000

Suspense #22 - 3.5 OW/WH - Bill Everett Cover

Another suspense with excellent coloration and brightness.  The interiors are in great shape.  There is a 5/8" tear left-of-center on the top front cover as well as some chipping.  Very cool Everett skeleton cover and another tough one with only 8 mid to low grade (6.0 is the highest) copies on the census

Asking:  Sold to Ironman4000

Amazing Spider-Man #55 - 9.0 OW/WH - Doc Ock

Super bright and clean copy.  Awesome colors and gloss.  There's a very small (less than 1/8") chip, which doesn't go through the paper on the hairline of Doc Ock's bowl cut.

Asking:  Sold to echu

Amazing Spider-Man #57 - 9.2 OW/WH - Ka-Zar

Very nice copy.  This would be a 9.4 if it weren't for the shadow on the top of the back cover.

Steranko really knew how to draw a spread, didn't he?

Amen! This one (in the 111) and the others he did during that brief Cap run are beautiful splashes ... The Schomberg purists will likely disagree, but these splashes remind me of Schomey's incredible busy covers during the GA ... Stunning attention to detail and form! Sorry to thread , JP ... But the image you posted brought back some good memories of this book, of which I've owned multiple copies over the years!

Given Steranko's affection for Golden Age comics, I don't doubt that Schomburg was an artistic influence.

lol I don't mind at all!  We're all here to talk comics!  What I really like about Steranko is he worked pop culture of the time into his art.  You can see this in so many of his covers.

Ghost Rider #2 - 3.0 OW/WH - Frazetta Cover / Ayers Art

Another well presenting cover for the grade.  The colors are bright and clean.  The page corners on the bottom are chipped and/or chewed.  I'm almost certain the staples have been replaced with modern staples.  There's some staining on the back.

Asking:  $150
