Who should play the next James Bond? 2 2

In which film did Bond disregard the feelings of females? All he has is regard for their feelings for him; which are universally positive. Females are his only weakness. What's going on here? Did I not see the past few dozen Bond films?

He's just doing what he does: protecting fellow females throughout the world.

Is this actually how the James Bond Jr. cartoon went 30 years ago? I never watched it.

Or the Marvel comic adaptation of the same?

FYI - per Wikipedia, he was actually referred to as Agent 003 1/2

Per the article citing Cary Fukunaga, Thunderball and Goldfinger.

In Thunderball, Fukunaga notes that Bond bascially forces himself on a woman...twice.

And it's more subtle in Goldfinger, but in the book it's explicit that Galore is a lesbian. In the film, it's strongly implied that a literal "roll in the hay" with Bond (in a barn) "cures" her of that lesbianism.

Jill Masterson seemed to really like Bond. I think she was consenting to Bond's flirting while messing around with Auric's card game. Bond didn't put any moves on Tilly before Oddjob canned her. He did force himself on Ms. Galore , that can't be denied. But at least she helped him save hundreds of lives.

Great movie.

I didn't realize there actually was a James Bond Jr. thing.

In that case, they should fast forward continuity to a movie about James Bond in retirement, and call it James Bond: Forget About Forever or something more clever. It could be a 70+ year old Bond off the steroids and trying to hold onto his past but facing the future and his own mortality from natural causes. Maybe he's in hiding (from his enemies) in Glen Coe woods after being outed on Twitter. It's a retirement life of his own making: alone and broken down. At least his bullet proof cabin has a mini-martini bar, even though his primary physician (who Bond calls D) told him to lay off the alchohol. And maybe our adventure begins when somebody is mysteriously murdering Bond's fellow retirees from MI6, forcing Bond out of retirement between bathroom breaks.

I actually kind of like this idea...
