I am trying to think of the teen-ager who used to post here and sell some of his dad's books.  He took advantage of Borock and also took and used his cell at a show.  Boroack had tried to take him under his wing and help him.  I believe his board name was Captain something or other.  

No clue why it popped into my mind but now it ticking me off I can't think of it.

Yep, pretty sure it was CapFreak. He is from my area. I used to sell him a lot of stuff at the flea market. He kind of imploded and disappeared. I believe he had some family problems. Was a nice kid before all that happened.

That's it.  Thanks much, Ed.  Wonder if he ever atoned and matured.  He had such a great opportunity to be involved in the hobby schooled by some gig hitters and barfed all over it.  Such is the pitfall of youth for some.

I saw him helping his mom at the flea a few months ago. Didn’t talk to him though. Pretty sure he is out of comics now.

I don't think so...I think GIJOEISAWESOME was a different kid...even younger than CAP Freak, if memory serves.

Wasn't his dad pretty wealthy?  And his parents didn't do much to admonish him for his pranks with Borock
