Glad I found this thread! I am getting a number of EQ magazines graded and trying to figure out which print different books are. This example is two issues of 11, the only difference being the yellow vs white background for the issue number, WaRP Graphics label and price. Next is issue 3 2nd print $1.25 price, 3rd print with $1.25 price but small bit of white at the bottom. Lastly, issue 3 with $1.50 price, no idea what print and then the totally redone cover from the late 80s. Boggles the mind. No idea how CGC will be able to tell

As far as I know, the situation with Elfquest magazines is similar to that with underground comics.  Other than when the price changes, there’s no way to tell what the actual printing is, so what may be multiple actual printings get lumped together.  Perhaps someone has figured out tells for certain differences but if so I’m not aware of them.
