Is this a production Defect Printers Ink? 0

I recently acquired a decent copy of thor 165, upon inspection the interior has vertical ink "stains" on several of the advertisement pages, see attached photos. Is this a production issue/error or something that occurred after the book left the manufacturer? I'm not the original owner so have no clue and apologize for this noobish question in advance if its general knowledge. @DiceX seems to be the person with the most accurate info in this regard, my biggest concern is whether this would affect the grade of the book if submitted to cgc

It could have happened after, but it is most likely a printing defect. At least it's only on the ad pages.

Yes. While not common, it's not unique, either.

Not end of the silver age but I have an Atom 7 that has a couple ink splotches on interior pages.
