Huh? Archies are Archies, Pep 22 is MLJ. My bad as the first thing that comes to my mind when somebody mentions Archie is Pep 22, Archie 1, and Jackpot 4. Well, in terms of MLJ I would definitely say that the Jackpot's and Zip's are indeed hot.

Well, except for the really early DC superhero books, I believe this would encompass pretty much 99.9% of the rest of the DC covers then.
Robot Man
That is except for the large logo More Funs with Spectre and Dr Fate covers. I keep waiting to see those get cheap and out of favor... snitzer

Popular Post Cat-Man_America
What’s hot? That’s a real good question! Many stretch to grasp the answer, but few snag the gold ring on this merry-go-round. After an exhaustive, thoroughly researched analysis of the hobby, a double-blind consensus of the most sage dealers in the collecting universe have reached this brilliant conclusion about hot and cold running books... Climate change is inevitable. if you’re sweating the purchase of a book today odds are a cool front will move in tomorrow. Of course all opinions should be taken with a grain of salt on the rim of a properly mixed top drawer margarita glass. Building on one of Niven’s key Laws ...any fool can predict the past... here are the basics for what’s hot: 1. Any comic books Chuck Rozanski hauled out of Edgar Church’s basement still have triple heat. 2. Comic books bought and sold by dealers wearing leopard skin briefs in the 1970’s for what seemed ridiculous sums of money at the time are undoubtably hotter today. The jury is still out on dealers and collectors from the 70’s. 3. Comic books with covers by artist “Alex” Schomburg are very hot, ...even those done with his first name written backwards. 4. S&K’s groundbreaking team-up with Jack Kirby’s raw visceral style and prolific output radiates heat, but it makes one wonder if there can be too much of a good thing. Hot, but in a scorched earth kinda way. 5. War is hell and WWII comics are hot, especially those clear cut villains such as Schicklegruber. Korean is hot too, especially when stir fried with rice, but fifteen minutes later you’re hungry for more.. 6. GGA and Pre-code horror is hot. Paper drives & civic minded bonfires meant that demand always trump supply. 7. Western comics are cool, ...but cool ranch has selective demand and the range varies, ...best to not get saddled. 8. Women are hot & always have been. Heroic costumed heroines and bondage babes are very hot (examples of attractive opposites).. 9. Teen comedy is moderately hot with Archie leading the pack, but the teen comedy market is volatile. Teens are fickle, you know. 10. Jungle heat that depends on great white hunters & white bondage babes fighting wild animals & spear-carrying African tribesmen are pretty much a one trick zebra. Talented illustrators are this genres saving grace. 11. Funny animals are a cool niche market for collectors and WWII funny animals, especially those satirizing Hitler, are red hot. 12. EC New Trend is hot, especially GFC, but this is an odd, top heavy market because of the numbers of high grade Gaines vault copies. 13. 50’s satire comics ...Mad imitators... seem to be on fire (UL warnings notwithstanding). 14. Romance is hot, but more an art worth collecting more for the variety than devotion to story, ...at least for guys. 15. Covers are hot and cover artists the hottest. Who cares what mischief is going on inside, ...it’s slabbed, right? GreatCaesarsGhost, path4play, kelholt and 8 others
