cigars&comix
Last year purchased my first OPG and barely used it due to the small writing even with magnifier sheet placed over it. Not sure why it took so long for them to come out with a PDF edition. see link below.. Thoughts? https://comics.ha.com/overstreet/comic-book-price-guide.s?ctrack=3750581&type=imglink-1-comic--overst-49gen--tem071719 Im debating if its worth the 30 bucks as I usually evaluate my books based on 3-12 month sold history on ebay. I usually buy one every two years just because there has been a few times over the years when i couldn't find any sales info on E-Bay and at least this gave me a starting point. But I'm going to not purchase it from now on since I don't think I've picked my last copy in quite awhile and it's an easy $30 saved. The market reports are kind of fun to read but very biased and irrelevant since the reports are so old.

I'm pretty sure Heritage has been offering the Overstreet digitally for several years, so this isn't the first. Unless they were offering something other than PDF, this is definitely not the first year. EDIT: Heritage has been offering Overstreet digitally since at least 2003. https://www.ha.com/heritage-auctions-press-releases-and-news.s?releaseid=464 Edited July 17, 2019 by valiantman

No worries, you just seemed to be accusing them of something (laziness?) when you said "Not sure why it took so long for them to come out with a PDF edition" but they were at least 16 years ahead of your assessment. KPR Comics
They used to give it away. Looks like the latest version is searchable, which if true, is a great improvement and maybe worth the price

Im a little OCD on this but in my defense I mustve misunderstood the comment in the HA article of my link which says " And now you can get it all on your computer - fully searchable - with the click of a mouse. " The words "and now" seem to allude to something new, that has never happened before..

Not sure how it would work with those that have ditched computers and live their digital lives on a smart phone. Responding to a few other comments. The OPG isn't the Bible of the hobby like it was decades ago, but it is still a useful tool - one of a several useful tools - that serious hobbyist's and dealers would be wise to have access to. When it comes to actually doing my research for a listing, I am strictly laptop computer with 2nd screen. For each comic I use a complex system to get my ultimate listing and fairest price. Some of the sites I use are Terapeak, gocollect (for price trends, there are others too), and fandom.com for actual info on the comic book including storyline, artists, year, characters, etc. Since Im savvy behind the keyboard Im flipping through these rather quickly , a book slows me down, and the PDF version, to me, would seem outdated compared to the live data I have at my fingertips. The only reason I may still get it is to show how much less I charge than the guide. Ex: Guide Price $100, My Price: $50 Tony S
musicmeta
I know HA stated a mobile phone version is coming out soon, but can you still install this on your smart phone ( iphone for me) and use it...I think you have to have Apple books or something for iphone? If so, I'll buy it. I have every OSPG from 2-up but I would like to stop at #50 in printed form at least. They are just taking up too much space.
