HighVoltage
Thanks for posting that interior shot of the CMB #24 article! (I was going to dig my copy out) As for the 'Hard to Find in HG,' it seems like the list is a little 'chalk' after about the top 15. That's not meant as an insult. It's just that we have some hard, global data now to look at with the census (even if it's not perfect). It would be interesting to have sales data and search queries that dealers have from their own websites and see what they're seeing! When I was putting my high-grade run together, #28 was probably the toughest just from a can-you-find-it perspective. LOTS of color-touched copies back in the raw days. #11 was an awful pain for sure - I ran through several color-touched copies. #44 was tough. #20 drove me crazy. #13 was difficult with the black spine edge. #9 was a hard. #6 was annoyingly tough. I lucked into a nice #2, but it can be a pain. #3 was also tough. But #4 took me forever. As for demand, and slightly derailing the ASM #11 thread - here's my guesswork at the list now: Rank // Issue Number 1 = #1 2 = #14 3 = #50 4 = #3 5 = #31 6 = #39 7 = #40 8 = #2 9 = #4 10 = #13 11 = #9 12 = #42 13 = #15 14 = #33 15 = #28 16 = #5 17 = #6 18 = #17 19 = #41 20 = #20 21 = #23 22 = #7 23 = #11 24 = #16 25 = #8 26 = #10 27 = #37 28 = #27 29 = #46 30 = #18 31 = #19 32 = #12 33 = #32 34 = #21 35 = #22 36 = #27 37 = #26 38 = #29 39 = #44 40 = #34 41 = #47 42 = #43 43 = #35 44 = #24 45 = #48 46 = #49 47 = #45 48 = #30 49 = #36 50 = #38 I'd probably drop the first three Annuals in these ranges: Annual #1 (demand rank 3-8) Annual #2 (demand rank 30-35) Annual #3 (demand rank 30-35) Edited March 11, 2020 by HighVoltage added annuals jayhawker

Multi-copy stacks of pristine unread early SA Marvels, singlehandedly jacked up the high grade census numbers for a slew of comics, including ASM #14, #19, and Daredevil #1. The collection was so big, the story goes the collector had entire rooms of a house filled with it. Terry was partnered with Dave Reynolds on the collection. Though I've always thought of DD #1 as relatively common in high grade (for a book of its stature), and ASM #19 as well, I wouldn't say that about ASM #14. Can't remember the last time I saw a 9.4 for sale.
