Asking if something is too high and then saying you will let it sit forever at a small discount doesn't really go hand in hand. Multiple knowledgeable sellers have told him the price is too high so now its up to him to listen. Kind of sounds like a big waste of time if he sticks to the price after asking for advice. Like I said previously - no one wants to hear it, but their books are not worth what they think they are. The listing ended yesterday and I've had four messages over night from different people thinking they sold. Comic books in the UK are not as easily found as in the USA, indeed a lot of these books came from the land of apple pie, prom queens and AR-15's. So we'll see what happens. Seems like a relatively small investment to possibly drastically increase your chances of getting paid in the range you are hoping to be paid. No not at all. I knew I was close to the mark just didn't know exactly how close... Or far. You lot have confirmed it. I have basically agreed a deal with a chap in Kent and will be hopefully dropping them off on Sunday. £3,100 I am keeping #38, #56, #63, #64, #82, #84, #86, #92, #97, #120, #654 they are being added to the other small stack I already pulled which were never listed or shown in the scan gallery. But it's more likely that some clown will blindly trust a price guide and not be able to look at and understand the market.
