kbmcvay
To basically piggyback off the similarly titled cover thread show off you DPS artwork (double page spreads and double page splashes are welcome). Here's mine...both Jim Lee Superman Unchained #4 16-17 All Star Batman and Robin #9 17-18 Edited October 11, 2019 by kbmcvay grapeape, Andahaion, BCarter27 and 1 other
Popular Post Brian Peck
Two favorites from my collection.... Tales of the Zombie #6 Pin-Up by Pablo Marcos Pablo is THE Tales of the Zombie artist. Love his lush brushwork, with The Zombie (Simon Garth) facing off against Layla. One of the best example from Pablo's run on the series. Uncanny X-Men #153 page 2-3 by Dave Cockrum and Joe Rubinstein The best page from one of my all-time favorite Kitty's Fairy Tale". It has everything, all the X-Men, what character they play in the tale and a fantastic swashbuckling page (I am a sucker for them). Dave at the top of his game! Popular Post glendgold
The first piece of OA that I ever saw was a dps. I walked into a con in Berkeley in 1973, and facing me was pp. 2-3 of FF annual 1, Submariner returning to Atlantis. It was a shocking $75! This is one of my favorite 1970s pieces by some guy whose name I can't quite remember. It's drawn at a weird size, slightly larger than normal but not twice up. drdroom, davidtere, lb jefferies and 7 others
malvin
I haven't contributed much to any of the "show your xxx" threads, but DPS is probably the rarest type of pages (especially double page splashes instead of double page spreads). Each comic book has a cover. 99% of comic books has at least 1 splash. Not al comic books have a DPS, and you need to buy 2 pages to get one! (I have bought half a DPS a few times in my collecting journey) Rather than link them all, I will use CAF's feature: Link to my double page spreads link to my double page splashes Thanks for looking Malvin grapeape, Twanj and BCarter27 2

I loved Billy’s Shi art. I bought all those original issues based on the art with zero knowledge of the storyline. Appreciate you showing the first piece you bought. The Deodato must be special to you not just for the art but story of obtaining it. Cheers
