Popular Post sagii
Hey all, figured there should be a Gold Forum edition of this annual Thread. @Cat-Man_America usually does them (if i'm wrong correct me), but i'm gonna grab the torch , Tip of the hat to @NewWorldOrder who does the honors in CG. All the major auctions are done for the year, plus i'm off, with nothing else to do today so why not? Hope to see IG superstars @JimButlerGA and @Markentoth in here among MANY others, king @Ricksneatstuff and maybe a surprise visit from @Sqeggs Hope everyone had a great 2019 collecting wise, here's to an even better 2020! I'm going to break my 3 into blocks, and since i'm the OP, i'm going to post a bonus #4 too Feel free to break the rules also Bear with me. In reverse order :Pick #3 Special Comics #1 (aka Hangman Comics #1) Been after this overlooked MLJ key for years. Finally landed a copy this year. circumstances, gino2paulus2, porcupine48 and 5 others

Popular Post sagii
Pick #1, always wanted a Billy Wright book. That the one i finally nabbed is a Centaur also is icing on the cake! This was the longest bidding battle for a book i have ever had on CC. I thought the extended bidding would never end. From the GA tour collection, Star Comics #12. Don't think there is a Mile High for this one. comicjack, circumstances, Readcomix and 5 others

Popular Post JimButlerGA
Thanks for inviting me Corey! You are too kind. It’s always hard to choose only three, but I’ll throw these three out there as important WWII cover acquisitions in 2019. Three and two were targets I identified going into 2019, the top pickup by far was one that I had no idea I would ever get a chance at. Number 3 is Master Comics 21, a classic war cover and a book I first saw in the 70’s and never thought I would own. I bought it as a 6.0 restored with a small amount of color touch. CCS brought it back to original state at 5.5 and I couldn’t have been happier. The lighting is a little different, but it is the same book! Popular Post JimButlerGA
Number two for me would be this All Select 1, a major tent pole of any GA WWII cover collection. Casablanca, Joshua33, AJD and 6 others
Popular Post JimButlerGA
Hands down number one, and I didn’t even know what I really had until after I bought it, is this Startling Comics 24, not because it’s a tough book (which it is), but because to my knowledge it is the earliest known signed Okajima pedigree camp book. It is truly a piece of history and I’m humbled to own it. circumstances, Casablanca, gino2paulus2 and 4 others
