Graded signature question 0

You have a comic from another grading company.  You don’t like the red grade and rather have cgc grade it.  Can they do a blue label and if so would it grade lower than a green qualified label.  Sig is on the front cover.   And if so what do most people do.  Thanks

Can do blue, grades lower.

Probably depends on the book the grade the value the rest of your collection etc.

There are Universal 9.8s with "name written on cover", but yes, the grade can be impacted by the signature.

What others have said is true. It can be blue but may be docked a half grade for the unwitnessed sig. Although if it is a book already in Fine to VF condition, I doubt it gets hit at all and could keep its original grade.

Although I haven't seen a blue 9.8 with name written on the cover.. tried to google some haven't found any easily..
