WAR ACTION #14 in 4.5. Classic Heath cover, presents like a strong midgrade. Torn corner on back cover; color flaking around staples but still well attached. Pretty book.

WAR ADVENTURES #4 in 5.0/5.5. Sweet copy of this Heath black cover, tough to grade... front looks 8.0 with barely even a single color flake missing, but first 7 interior pages have weak bottom right corner with a small chip missing. I'd say LT/OW pages, very supple overall except for that spot. A 'Mylar queen' as they say.

Classic Siegel/Shuster-studio Supes with a patriotic war cover (though it predates Pearl Harbor by at least a few months). These early DCs are so fun.

I had sold this previously, and it was returned due to an ad page missing just before the centerfold, so that's totally on me. All four Superman stories are complete, and I've verified no other pages are missing. One additional defect I missed, and the buyer missed as well, is that I believe the cover and first 5-6 pages are VERY slightly trimmed along the right edge. It's subtle; there is less than 1/16" missing, and the margins look and feel correct when you flip through the book (see first page pic below). 

With all that said, a nice solid filler/reader copy. Cover is attached though extra staples were added at some point; some pencil tracings on figures. Supple white/offwhite pages. Even ragged and brittle .5 to 1.0 copies of #12 generally sell for around $300, making this a nice deal.

WANTED #48 in 5.0/5.5. Glossy copy with OW pages. These later Wanteds are cool! Incredible Harry Anderson art on a nasty serial killer story. Excellent stuff throughout. The blurred look on the reds is a common production issue.
