Ok, the final cost for the dinner will be $40 per person.

Unfortunately, it will be a cash bar as I wanted to keep the dinner cost down as much as possible. Perhaps we can persuade CGC to spring for drinks! poke2.gif

I have arranged for appetizers during the cocktail hour. I have whittled it down to three choices and would like to know what you all prefer: Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Southwestern Egg Rolls or Bruschetta. You can pick two of the three.

The sit down dinner menu will be:

First Course: House Salad Or Caesar Salad

Second Course: Choice of

Chimichurri Steak

Certified Angus Beef ® flat iron steak grilled to order

Pecan Crusted Salmon

Grilled Marinated Chicken

All entrees served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Third Course: 7 Layer Chocolate Cake Or New York Style Cheese Cake

Coffee, tea, iced tea and soft drinks included.

Tax and Gratuity included.

Details forthcoming about how to get me the money.

BTW: the sit-down meal WILL be LIMITED to 40 persons due to room size, so sign up ASAP to guarantee yourself a spot.

What have you people got against spinach and artichoke dip? It's delicious.

Now bruschetta, there's a waste of space. It's just lots of bread. Bread, people! At least with dip, you can take a small piece of bread, or a chip, or something lighter. But bruschetta is just bread with tomatoes on it. Please.

And there's my "dip" diatribe. smile.gif

actually… the Dip has not been bad at all at previous dinners. I'm really more interested in having the eggrolls as 1 of the 2 choices.

There was no SPINACH 893naughty-thumb.gif in the last dips! Hate that stuff tongue.gif

ahhhhh... so it was only Artichoke dip??

I guess that whole Popeye spinach con never worked on you as a kid… or maybe too well
