So I wasn’t willing to go the distance on the White Mountain CGC 8.0 ow/w at over $1300.00 0n Heritage last June so for a thousand dollars less I dropped to this CGC 6.5 white paged copy on comic connect tonight. I know Atlas goes up faster with each higher grade point but I can seriously live with the point and a half difference with better page quality and $1000.00 left over towards something else.
That said, I love this Everett cover on a late run Atlas…:luhv:

Indeed! I’m with you. Beautiful book and a very smart purchase!

This would be my favorite Atlas "girlie" cover.

Indeed! I remember taking that one to a show for Russ to sign. He smiled when he saw it and told me the model was his ex wife with some “modifications”…

Finally got one!

According to Clink 3rd highest graded (but I haven’t checked that to verify). Either way glad to get a decent copy.

Love the date stamp placement and it looks lovely :luhv:

Looking thru a stack of books this morning, I found tonight's bedtime story. I remember buying this in an antique store with my then girlfriend about 10 years ago. If you're like me, you just hope to find SOMETHING to buy that fits an interest of yours and in that particular place ... pickin's were slim! I remember seeing that Atlas globe and feeling relief! lol I also got a few random Dells and got out of there. :ohnoez:

Those are actually pretty cool for a short run title. Growing up during the 70’s I remember his work best for this strip.

Very cool, thanks! I'll be looking forward to my bedtime story (I'm making a point to read a funny book every night). I remember some of his work from the tail end of More Fun, but I no longer own any of those.
