I love "pattern-books" like this one. This is pre-Photoshop, yet Everett uses a detailed pattern on the girl's dress. I am assuming this was all hand-drawn & inked given how the pattern follows the folds. :hail:

Absolutely. And I just love the way the guy and gal are looking at one another. Everett was a god. :luhv:

Definitely hand-drawn. It was common for Everrett to clothe at least one of his cover characters in fabric that was textured or patterned. That fine detail is much easier to see in person than in the scan.

As a fellow Atlas collector I am indeed impressed. Some of those books are very HTF in decent shape. More sets please!

Agreed! :applause:

Apparently, Atlas fans have nothing better to do today. lol

How about some Marvel Tales, Atlas’ flagship horror title? My run includes seven Circle 8 copies (#151-156, 158), three River City copies (#134, 157, 159), twelve White Mountain copies (#105-108, 111, 113, 118, 125, 127, 129, 131, 137), and seven Petaluma copies (#135, 136, 138, 139, 146, 148, 150).

This particular title has quite a few great covers. My personal favorites are the #104 (an awesome Heath cover), #127 (which I believe is a Harry Anderson effort), #135 (is that Stan?), and #148 (Everett, who continued to shine in spite of the CCA):
