I pulled out another mini-run, the War issues within Young Men. Young Men's War format lasted from # 12 to 20, or just 9 issues. Even though not a War issue, I realized I want a # 10 with a War theme cover. That makes one more to track down.

I am sure most of you are aware of the upcoming Atlas at War! book collection coming this September. It's put out by Dead Reckoning, the publishing arm of the Naval Institute Press. Dead Reckoning has been putting out some great material. Check it out.

I did not preorder it since I probably have most of the stories in my collection but having them curated in a format I can just pull off the shelf sounds great. I might have to reconsider. Who is getting it?

I preordered it.  Easier than digging through my boxes

:bump:from Page 4.

While looking for Maneely covers, I ran across these two in my boxes. Western Outlaws (sans Sheriffs) is an anthology, of course, but without a "Kid" attached to the title, it follows the War model of independent stories. The advantage of that format is that in a span of 3 issues or 12 stories, you can see the work of 12 different artists. That makes the title more interesting than it might otherwise appear.

# 2 - with Tuska, Benulis, DiPreta and Forte -
