Holy Moley, Alton, I didn't know about the #20! Is that Crowzilla's old copy that highlander had on eBay?

 

 

yes it's the same one,. after seeing what the 7.0 and 4.5 copies of Action #20 went for in the last Heritage auction, I figured that I may not have another shot at an unrestored copy at a reasonable price (if you can call these prices reasonable). so I hit the BIN, I also saw that a raw restored copy ended on eBay at $1,400

Well, It's Friday, and what better way to celebrate the weekend than to post my 2 new GA Action acquisitions.

 

after these two pickups, I probably won't be buying for a long while

 

but it was worth it.

The Action 20 sure is a pretty book, with an awesome Shuster cover. And, the 43 is a classic war cover in my book. If you were going to spend your comic budget on 2 books this year, these were GREAT choices. Well done Alton!

These are just amazing Alton! Congratulations! I have always considered the #20 to be a grail book. Great job!

thanks Mike and everyone else, yeah the #20 is a tough book in unrestored condition, for whatever reason, especially when compared to surrounding issues, there are only 9 Blue labels and 1 Qualified, and then 7 PLODs.
