But keep in mind Beyonder, that this *blurb* is meant to SELL the TPB to new buyers, so naturally the hype is out in full force. It never mentions that in ASM #90, Captain Stacy is also killed, and he was a main supporting character, similar to MJ, Harry, Robbie, Gwen, etc.

 

Just like GS X-Men #1, ASM 121-122 was a seminal point in the Bronze Age, but way too much had already happened to make it the starting point.

"I wrote to OPG as soon as I read the article earlier this year. I said that the only person I knew who thought ASM 121 was a likely candidate was a guy who collected only Spidey.
