Oh wow! That's really nice. New to me.

I'm honestly afraid to even look at the romance pulps... I know it will be ridiculous how many awesome books there are. My wantlist is exploding as it is.  :fear:

Fantastic! (gonna be keeping an eye out for Seuss' Jungle Number there, too, Judge is one I always keep an eye on - usually for the girlie art)

People tend to think of the pulps as all gangsters, cowboys, and bug-eye aliens but forget Love Story and All-Story Love were top sellers in the world of pulp.  When you look at the newstand pics, you can see pretty clearly that the love pulp section is usually just as big and a lot of times bigger than the section for the boys.  It's kind of like the romance comics, though, where they haven't always been kept well, so finding them in great shape can be hard to do.  I see new ones all the time I've never seen before, sometimes with gobsmackingly beautiful art or charming love scenes.

One of my favorite blogs in all of pulp fandom is Lucynka's blog on romance pulps.  She's writes sharp, vibrant and modern takes on romance stories and authors and shares all sorts of neat peripheral articles on pulp writers from old papers and such, too:
