PGM Batman v. Predator 1 1

Book #2 in my quest to grade books better. Or, well, to learn how to grade at all. This one feels pretty high to me, but I need the opinions of the crew here.  

No real obvious issues that I can spot. The spine has no ticks, but does have that ridge along the spine where the fold happened. Seems like the vast majority of books have that, and the few 9.8 slabs I own seem to have that, too.

I agree. I admit, I am not confortable calling a 9.8 in any scenario, but this copy looks really sharp and if you saw 9.8s with that same bindery issue then I won't argue

I'll also go with a 9.8.  Might be a first for me as well.

The highest grade I can give from an image is 9.6. I think to give anything a 9.8 it would need to be placed under a magnifying glass.
