You can press just about anything, but, at the end of the day imho a reputable presser will tell you that a press for that tick will not improve the grade as it appears to break color and a press will not change the fact that it does I can only base this based on the pic and the angle that the pic was taken...if it's a non color breaking tick, then you have a "chance" at a 9.8. Funnybooks Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Are you a gambling man? i would not pay 9.8 pricing with the hopes that it grades this way i would consider paying 9.4-9.6 pricing and live with the 9.6 if a 9.6 Copy is not something you want in your collection, then wait ask yourself this....if the owner thinks the book is a 9.8, why would he not submit and get it graded himself? I just don’t know if a 9.6 is worth the $120 he’s asking. I know this isn’t the right forum for pricing questions, I just can’t find any recent eBay sales to go based on.
