stynxno Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Now that I'm back into comic collecting, I need to retrain my eye. I'm trying to re-learn the defects allowed, especially in 9.0+. This comes from a mostly modern collection where the comics were not bagged or boarded. There's a couple of spine ticks (noticeable on the back) and my scanner doesn't seem to handle the reflective surface too well. I've included pictures of what might be a printer issue on the front cover by the top staple. I'm also curious how to grade what looks like ink-rub on the front cover (if there's a better term for this, please let me know.)
